The brief
The owners wanted a single-slab island and integrated appliance panels, and they were not moving out. Dust control and daily access mattered as much as the finish.
How we built it
- 01
Built a sealed containment corridor with negative air to keep construction dust out of the living floors.
- 02
Templated the island after cabinetry was set so the slab was cut once to the built condition.

Verified every appliance cut sheet against rough-in before framing closed.

Held a Friday walkthrough so selections stayed ahead of the schedule.
Outcome
Finished on the contract date with a two-item punch list, both closed before the final invoice.
